Our Orchard-camping is located in the Noorderpark, at the edge of the Bethunepolder. It features a brand new sanitary building with a roofed-over dishwashing area. The minicamping fits a maximum of 15 tents. This simple camping, with above average sanitary facilities offers power to several invidual tents. Our guests here are mainly cyclists and hikers interested in the Green Heart.
A fireplace for outdoor cooking or a small campfire is available. We have limited parking space. The camping is located on peatland (turf) and therefore poorly suited for caravans and popup campers.

The camping lies in the Noorderpark, a nature reserve bordered by the village of Maarssen, National park the Utrechtse Heuvelrug to the southeast and the water-rich area 'Loosdrechtse Plassen' to the north. The area is perfectly suited towards cycling, walking, horseback riding, sailing, rowing and swimming. Bicycle rental is available at netjesverhuur.nl, just 200 meters from the camping.
Recreation area "De Maarsseveense Plassen" is found a mere 10 minute walk away. It features a playground, a wellness center and swimming, surfing and diving facilities. The recreation area has freely accessible areas as well as a secure area with a beach and water playground watched over by lifeguards. It is ideal place for young families to spend a carefree day.
Werk Maarsseveen, a fortification part of the Dutch Water Line, can be found a 5 minute walk away.
Recreation area "De Strook" is freely accessible and can be reached in about 15 minutes by bicycle. Attempting to reach it by car on a sunny day is not recommended.
You'll find a nice restaurant called de Heeren van Maarssen practically nextdoor (about 150 meters away). Wok de Mallejan, a chinese restaurant, is located a few kilometers away. In addition, various establishments where a good meal can be enjoyed can be found in the nearby village of Maarssen.

The Rates as mentioned on this website are in effect for a stay with an arrival after 13:00 and a departure before 11:30.Payment for your stay must be completed in full at your arrival in cash, or via payment service iDeal through the 'Tikkie' service.
